![]() ![]() I agree, Disney does have to tread carefully.or they too will become the land of naysayers. As in the past, the good guys competed with the bad. That proved to be the best spot for children to view the show due to the crowd. Since it was so busy, Hyperspace Hoopla was also shown on the American Idol screen. People were lining up to get good seats about two hours before the show. What's the point? In my mind, it would be better to have a well used court with a few scuff marks with a few cigarette butts, a little dog poop (nearby), and a few happy kids running around, than a giant space waster. The last weekend of Star Wars Weekend was certainly busy. ![]() If there's any evidence at all that you've been here, we will fine you $200. No smoking, no pets, no kids, no off hours, no noise, no trash. Now there are five large signs posted outside the tennis court! If you scuff it, we'll charge you $200. It's like a local tennis court near me.First there was one reminder note: wear the proper shoes, no glass. I'm not so much worried about being a no show as I simply find it distasteful to have to even think about a penalty fee. I may, on the other hand cancel a visit if the prices got too high, and Disney gets too carried away with things like the current no-show dining penalty. I don't think I'd cancel a trip to WDW over one show being cancelled (unless I was personally like a paid performer in the show), seeing one character, or any one attraction being closed, but that's me. I don't know about that, but apparently, over MLK jr Weekend, lots of folks waiting in a FIVE/SIX hour line to see the new ice princesses!!!!!! In my mind, spend most of the day in line to see two characters pretty much constitutes wasting, I mean planning, their entire day around something even less impressive than a show. ![]()
